Eula Kennedy and the Mother’s Day

She was the founder of Metodist Church in Taubaté’s daughter, the first evangelical congregation in the city, Eula Kennedy was a respected researcher, the author of  successful books and columnist for Brazilian newspapers and magazines. She has toured the country, as a missionary and in 1918 in Porto Alegre she was the responsiblefor celebration of the first Mother’s Day in Brazil. The event was held to remember the fifth year of her mother’s death. She was married to American Frank Millard Long, and she has got five children.
